Certifications

The WineStation is the only fully OSHA certified equipment of its kind including UL and NSF/ANSI.

Product Certifications

In the US product safety requirement comes from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA requires Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) listing for, among other things, all electrical equipment intended to be used in the workplace, regardless of locality.
WineStation Certifications
UL Safety Certification is required by most local health and safety agencies in the USA. Napa Technology is certified by UL and tested to the following NSF/ANSI Standards:

• NSF/ANSI 169
• NSF/ANSI 25
• NSF/ANSI 18

Napa Technology, LLC Safety Certifications

• Information Technology Equipment Including Electrical Business Equipment
• Information Technology Equipment Including Electrical Business Equipment Certified for Canada
• Beverage Coolers and Beverage Cooler-Dispensers
• Beverage Coolers and Beverage Cooler-Dispensers Certified for Canada

IMPORTANT NOTE: It has come to our attention that that one or more of our competitors lists UL certification on their brochures and website however they have not received UL Safety Certification.
To protect your investment Napa Technology recommends you or a team member personally verify the fact that your vendor(s) currently hold a UL Safety Certification and not simply NSF certification. NSF alone may not be enough for the Electrical and Fire inspectors in your area.

OSHA Requirements

The legal requirements for Product Safety vary throughout the world, depending upon the jurisdiction and where the equipment will be deployed (Factory, Office, and Medical).
A manufacturer would benefit from having its product tested and Listed by a Third party Test Agency to the applicable industry consensus standard(s). A merchant of products would also benefit by marketing products that are listed by a Third party Test Agency.
Legal requirements: Entry into a country or market
Consumer Safety: Reduction of Consumer Injury from risks through product safety testing.
Product Liability Limitation: Defense of “Due Diligence”
Market Recognition: Consumer accepted Third Party certification or Listing marks

UL & NSF

As the designers of the most advanced, efficient, reliable pouring and preservation solution found in the worldwide, Napa Technology also affords your business with the greatest peace of mind, as our product line has achieved the highest level of Electrical, Fire, and Sanitation certification required by OSHA compliance inspectors throughout the United States.
In the United States, product safety requirements are designed and regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). These stringent guidelines assure consumers are receiving the highest level of sanitation, health and electrical requirements for their investment.
As a consumer, you should always look for the following symbols in both technical specs and on the equipment itself:
NSF International nationally recognized by OSHA, tests and certifies products to meet public health, sanitation and safety standards.

Underwriters Laboratory (UL), also nationally recognized and required by OSHA, is a testing organization enforcing equipment and protection from electrical hazards.

Today, Napa Technology are the only makers of intelligent, automated preservation and dispensing systems that can provide you with the greatest level of product assurance for sanitation and electrical safety, as we have been certified by UL and tested to the NSF/ANSI standards.
